DOG YEARS

Dog Years are a Newcastle-based band made up of marital unit Simon and Carly Fee and their prodigious offspring, Paul Burns and Craig Woolf.

Describing themselves as ‘cynical optimists’, they merge seemingly schizoid elements: rusty razor guitars scrape and slice through heart-squeezing harmonies, amid a surreal linguistic landscape. 

Dog Years pack the melodic pop poetry of The Beatles and Big Star, the snotty sarcasm of Nirvana and the Pistols, the wit and lyricism of The Smiths ...
