Watchers

Watchers were formed in 2010 from the remnants of northeast band ‘1862’ – and since doing so they have steadily emerged as one of the promising musical prospects from around the northeast of England. As well as a tour of northern cities with The Charlatans in 2011, they have also supported The Vaccines, The Futureheads, The Phantom Band, Electric Soft Parade, The Chapman Family and Clock Opera.
Of late they have been busy recording with producer Danton Supple (Morrissey, U2, Patti Smith, Doves) in preparation for their forthcoming debut release in the summer of 2012, and also been chosen as one of the northeast best emerging musical talents after being selected from hundreds of bands/artists from around the northeast of England to play at EVOLUTION EMERGING FESTIVAL.
Playing live, Watchers know there is nothing like the thrill and exhilaration that come from watching someone or something giving their absolute all in performing, and they aim to deliver.
